Nick Cave has announced 25 North American Conversations shows for April and May 2027. The evenings combine unvetted audience questions with songs from his catalogue, performed at the piano. Tickets begin reaching presales on 11 November, ahead of general sale on 13 November.

The announcement published on 6 November marks the format’s return to North America after the 2019 Conversations tour. Counting the official itinerary gives 25 performances: the first is at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre on 9 April, and the last at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre on 21 May.

The questions belong to the evening

The event’s full name, Conversations with Nick Cave: An Evening of Talk and Music, explains the ticket more clearly than an artist name alone. The audience can bring questions into the room; Cave brings songs to the piano. Both are in the description of the show.

That gives a prospective buyer something specific to consider. An interest in the discussion is part of choosing this format. The announcement doesn’t supply a setlist, so there’s less to base a decision on if hearing one particular song is your main reason for going.

A 36-hour presale window

The official presale opens at 10am local time on Wednesday 11 November and ends at 10pm local time on Thursday 12 November. That works out to 36 hours on each city’s clock. General sale follows at 10am local time on Friday 13 November.

The tour registration site has the city listings and links. Pick the performance there before converting the sale time. “10am” copied without the city is an incomplete reminder for someone buying from abroad: Vancouver and New Orleans use different clocks.

Keep the access route in that note as well. Our RAYE ticket guide offers another example of why a named presale and its requirements need to stay together. Registering for access and completing a ticket order are separate steps.

One city can mean two choices

Seattle has 13 and 14 April, San Francisco 16 and 17 April, and Los Angeles 20 and 21 April. Toronto’s two performances fall on 29 and 30 April. Each pair represents separate nights on the itinerary.

For a trip, put the chosen night beside the city before booking transport or a room. A Los Angeles reminder with no date leaves an easy 20–21 April mix-up unresolved. Saving the performance date, venue listing and sale opening together gives you one booking note to return to when tickets become available.
