999999999 and LYNSY Release TRIP ON ACID: Finding the Official Version

The collaboration is out through Tomorrowland Music. Our three checks help separate the credited release from festival clips and unrelated uploads.

999999999 and LYNSY have released their first collaboration, TRIP ON ACID, through Tomorrowland Music. The label's 9 October announcement says the track had appeared in 999999999's festival sets for months before its official release.

For anyone who first encountered it in a crowd recording, the useful news is that there is now an official destination for the track. A familiar vocal hook can help you recognise a clip, but a title attached to somebody else's upload is a weak basis for identifying the released recording.

Three checks before saving the track

1. Start with the label's release link. Tomorrowland Music provides an official service selector, including Spotify, Apple Music and other listening services. Follow that route before searching a video platform for a phrase you remember. It gives you a reference point when several similarly named uploads appear.

2. Check both artist names. The announcement names 999999999 and LYNSY together. Search results for the duo alone can lead into earlier material, while a festival recording may name only the performer whose set was filmed. On your chosen service, check the artist credits against the label announcement rather than trusting the thumbnail or upload caption.

3. Identify the version before making a comparison. A short clip and a full release serve different purposes. Look at the title, duration and any version label displayed by the service. Do not assume that a video called “extended” is an official extended mix, or that every upload of the same hook is the same master. We are not claiming a particular runtime or extra mix here; those details need checking on the actual listing you choose.

These steps also make a personal music library easier to maintain. A saved release with clear credits is more useful months later than a bookmark whose only description is “ID from that set”.

What the announcement tells us

Tomorrowland Music describes the collaboration as combining a vocal hook with acid-driven energy. It presents 999999999 as a hardware-led live act rooted in improvisation and LYNSY as a Breda-based artist working across hard dance and techno.

The label also reports strong crowd recognition before release. That is the label and artists' account of the track's live reception, not an independent measurement of demand. It should not be mistaken for a listening verdict from MP3Raid.

A festival clip keeps the moment as well as the music. You hear the crowd and whatever was playing around the track; the camera microphone has its own part in the result. Saving the official release gives you something you can return to under different listening conditions. Keep the clip too, if the occasion matters to you.

Once you have located the credited release, hear the whole version. Then return to the clip, if you like, and consider what made that particular live moment catch your attention. Start with the label link, then make up your own mind about the music.
