Cage the Elephant have announced Dying In Reverse for February 5, 2027, and put out “Make It Easy” ahead of the album. The band's homepage puts the track next to links to preorder or presave the record. Each link does a different job. You can hear the single now, save the album for later, or choose a physical copy if you want one.

The single is the place to start today

The band gives “Make It Easy” its own listening page. Its homepage also lists “Dying In Reverse” and “Beaches in Tennessee” separately. That distinction is useful when the album shares a name with a song. If you're looking for the newest preview discussed here, pick “Make It Easy” rather than the title track or the album's presave listing.

The album presave page lists services separately. It is a route to the forthcoming release on a chosen service. It does not say the entire album is available today. You can use the single's listening link without making a presave or deciding which physical edition to buy.

Decide what you want from the physical copy

The official store lists a standard CD and a black LP alongside a signed CD and several signed vinyl listings. The signed vinyl names include Graphite, Smokeshow, Dragon's Den and Cream/White Splatter. The useful distinction at this stage is between format, appearance and the signed offer. A CD and an LP need different players. A variant name tells you what to look for on the store listing and can help you identify which version you ordered later.

If the signature matters more to you than the color, start with the listings marked signed, then read the individual product description for what is signed. A signed jacket and a signed insert are different things to a collector. If you care about a different track list, find an explicit track listing for that edition. A color or a signed label alone gives you no reason to expect extra music or a different mastering.

Our guide to checking a gatefold package applies the same approach to packaging. Look for the specific physical feature in the item description before paying for it. The February date is the band's album release date. If you're buying for an occasion, use the delivery estimate on your own listing and checkout rather than treating the album date as a parcel arrival date.
