Fatboy Slim, Robbie Williams and Kings of Leon are the first headliners announced for Isle of Wight Festival 2027. The organiser’s October 23 announcement places them on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. The event takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, from June 17 to 20.
PayPal customers can already try for tickets. Everyone else has a separate date to put in the diary: general sale begins at 8am on Monday, October 26. Before committing to a trip, it helps to match those sales notices to what has actually been announced for the weekend.
Which days can you put against a name?
Fatboy Slim’s Friday slot is June 18; Robbie Williams follows on June 19, and Kings of Leon close the festival on June 20. The advertised four-date span also includes Thursday, June 17. The headline announcement names three closing acts, so it does not give Thursday an equivalent headline booking.
Bastille, Becky Hill, Courteeners, Myles Smith, The Cardigans, Inhaler, Kaiser Chiefs, Rudimental and 5 Seconds of Summer are among the other confirmed names. More acts are still to come, according to the organiser.
If you are going primarily for The Cardigans, for example, their inclusion tells you they are booked. You still need their day, stage and set time to plan which other performances you can catch. A first-wave poster cannot answer the clash question yet.
Who gets the first chance at tickets?
The PayPal presale page gives a start of 8am on Friday, October 23, and a dedicated 48-hour window for PayPal customers. The launch announcement qualifies that offer: the allocation is limited, and access lasts up to 48 hours. Check what remains available rather than assuming a ticket type will stay on sale until the window ends.
Monday’s 8am general sale is the next advertised route. For a buyer outside the UK, the hour needs an extra check: the organiser’s news pages do not label a time zone. Follow the official ticket link and use the zone displayed by the ticketing service when setting a reminder.
What is still yours to check before booking travel?
Read the description of the ticket you choose for its camping access and entry dates. Then work out whether your intended arrival fits it, and price travel and accommodation separately from admission. Don’t infer a particular camping entitlement from the headline poster.
Our concert ticket-buying guide follows that order: establish the ticket’s scope, then plan around it. Today’s announcement supplies three headline dates and a starting list of other artists. It leaves a running order to come.
