Nickelback's next album arrives on 30 October, but fans choosing tickets for its 2027 tour have a decision to make sooner. Artist presales begin on 13 October and the general sale follows on 16 October, both at 10am local time. Live Nation announced the Everything Under The Sun tour on 9 October, with Don Broco joining as support.

The first artist presale is 17 days ahead of the album. By release day, both the presale and general sale will have opened. Anyone waiting to hear the record before booking will therefore be coming to tickets later. Whether that bothers you depends on why you're going: the new album, the older songs, or simply the chance to see the band.

The shows belong to 2027

The run starts on 6 February in Pittsburgh, followed by a UK and European opening in Leeds on 22 May. Perth begins the Australian dates on 2 October. All three are 2027 dates. The band's own site links to its show listings and album information.

These are next year's shows, even though the album campaign is happening now. For a fan planning a trip, that means checking two calendars: the venue's sale schedule this week and your travel dates next year. Hotel or transport costs can change what looks like an affordable ticket into a much larger purchase.

What about the songs? Everything Under The Sun gives the tour its name, but the announcement doesn't settle which tracks will make the show. We'd keep that question open. Booking because you want to see the band is a firmer basis than booking on the assumption that one favourite song is guaranteed.

Check the offer, then the clock

There is a US Spotify route as well as the artist presale. Ticketmaster lists Reserved by Spotify for eligible US Premium subscribers. It starts at noon local venue time on 13 October and has a two-ticket limit per tour.

So there are two times to note on the artist-presale day: 10am for that sale and noon for this US Spotify offer. Which one applies to you depends on the offer you qualify for. Check eligibility on the actual listing before setting a reminder; don't carry one region's offer across to another.

Then read the ticket conditions and add fees and travel to the cost before choosing a package. We make the same distinction in our Greta Van Fleet tour and ticket guide: a tour headline is only the start of the booking information.

MP3Raid's take: decide whether you're booking for Nickelback's established catalogue or waiting to hear this album. Put the sale you can use in your diary, and leave the setlist question for later.
