Peter Doherty will play Hackney Church in London on Friday, 12 February 2027. The venue’s listing advertises admission from £35 plus fees and sends buyers to Universe. Follow that link and the price shown for one ticket is £41.24, for either of the two areas on sale when checked on 8 November.
Those areas are Ground Floor Standing and Balcony Unreserved Seating. They cost the same in the selector, but they do not give access to the same parts of the building. That is the decision to settle with anyone you’re going with before you buy.
Allow £6.24 above the starting price
The venue-linked Universe selector breaks each ticket down into £35 plus £6.24 in fees. It shows £41.24 including taxes. For two people, adding those displayed ticket prices gives £82.48; the two £35 base prices alone would add up to £70.
That £12.48 difference for a pair is our calculation from the ticket figures, rather than a checkout quote. We did not place an order. Any final charges and the availability of your chosen option still need checking on the seller’s live page.
There was no saving from picking the balcony instead of the floor in the options displayed. If you’ve budgeted from the venue’s “from £35” notice, allow for the fees as well as getting to Lower Clapton Road, London E5 0PD.
Agree on the part of the room
Universe’s conditions say that standing ticket holders cannot access the balcony, or vice versa. Someone with a floor ticket should not expect to meet a friend upstairs after entering.
The balcony option is described as unreserved seating. It isn’t a selection of a particular numbered seat. For accessibility requirements, contact Hackney Church before booking; neither of these general ticket labels tells you whether the arrangement meets your needs.
The venue’s event page gives an age limit of 14 and over. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18, so a younger attendee also needs to plan who will accompany them.
Keep the time window with the ticket
Hackney Church lists 7pm–10:45pm for the event. It does not identify that whole window as Doherty’s performance time. Check for later stage-time information rather than using 7pm as a confirmed start for his set.
Save the listing with your confirmation so the date, area and conditions stay together. Our coverage of Deep Purple’s postponed shows explains why an organiser’s latest notice matters when plans change. Here, the immediate task is simpler: choose the same area as your companions and budget from the fee-inclusive ticket figure. This report uses the published booking information; no ticket purchase or venue visit is claimed.
