Björk Orkestral with the Hamrahlíð Choir is coming to LP, CD, DVD and Blu-ray. OLI Records is taking preorders with a November 27, 2026 shipping date. The night on record took place five years earlier: October 24, 2021, at Harpa in Reykjavík.

The label's listing identifies the show within the Orkestral concert series and supplies its programme. That's worth checking before choosing a format, especially if you followed more than one of those performances.

One night, 11 listed songs

There are 50 singers in the credited Hamrahlíð Choir. Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir conducts, and Bergur Þórisson is the musical director on organ and electronics. The label says the songs come primarily from Medúlla.

Our count of the published track list gives 11 entries, beginning with Show Me Forgiveness and ending with New World. Where Is the Line is the penultimate song. Hidden Place and Unravel also appear in the programme.

Those details let you identify the release more reliably than the broad Orkestral name. If you remember a particular song from another date in the series, look for it in this list before ordering. The October 24 recording doesn't stand for every concert in the series, and the new physical editions don't make it a newly recorded performance.

Audio shelf or film shelf?

The shop groups Black LP, CD, DVD and Blu-ray under one product. Choose the format first, then check its contents and the equipment you'll need. Someone who wants an album for a record player has a different requirement from someone who wants to watch the choir on television.

LP and CD are the audio routes. For viewing, inspect the DVD or Blu-ray listing and your player. A CD player doesn't gain video playback simply because a concert is also available on disc.

The shared description leaves some edition details unstated. It doesn't give us a basis to promise a particular surround mix, video resolution or included download. Check those details with the selected edition if they matter to your purchase. We haven't tested or compared these discs.

Plan around shipping

OLI's November 27 date describes dispatch. Delivery to another country may take longer, so leave time for the route and any import process when ordering a gift.

The official release hub also points to digital services. Presaving there and buying a physical copy are separate actions. Decide which you want before following the relevant link.
