Glasvegas have released “Degüello” and announced their fifth studio album, Airy Fairy, for April 2, 2027. The band’s October 27 announcement also confirms a UK and Ireland tour. For a first listen, the official artist page links the single on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal.

Anyone choosing a physical copy has a more specific question: is there different music on the different editions? The official CD and black-vinyl listings currently name the same ten tracks in the same order. The vinyl changes where you turn the record over, rather than adding an extra song.

Where the vinyl side ends

“Degüello” opens both listings, followed by “Airy Fairy”, “Holiday & Travel Brochure”, “My Hate Part” and “Virtually Real”. That is the whole first side of the black LP.

Side B begins with “TOOBIN’”, then runs through “Null”, “Even Your Darkness Has A Light Of Its Own” and “Lost in L.A.” to “Geographic”. The CD track list places those five after the first five without the side break. Counted from the shop’s listings, that makes ten tracks on each format, with “TOOBIN’” at position six.

So a listener following the announced order on CD can pause after track five to mirror the LP’s division. That is a simple listening choice, not a claim that the formats sound identical or use the same mastering. Neither product page supplies enough technical detail to make that judgement. We haven’t tested either edition.

The current listing also gives no reason to buy both formats for additional audio. If an expanded edition appears later, compare its actual track list; a colour change or a bundle name doesn’t establish that there are new recordings. Our guide to remasters and remixes explains why an edition label alone cannot settle what changed.

Buy the format you want, check the offer separately

The store offers CD, black vinyl and exclusive orange vinyl, alongside bundles. Its signed-print offer is one print per order that includes an album. A print is not a signed record sleeve, and ordering several albums together is not advertised as a way to receive several prints.

There is another useful detail below the shop’s presale message: no purchase is necessary. A separate email form asks visitors to enter and confirm an address for ticket presale access. Presale information is due to start going out at 3pm GMT on October 27; the sale opens at 10am GMT on October 28. Access and a purchased concert ticket remain separate things. Check the form’s terms before submitting an address; we haven’t registered on readers’ behalf.
